BGA?

Postby Sourcerer » Mon Sep 19, 2016 5:24 am

I am just curious: I heard that BGA provides superior signal quality to QFN, which I would have expected to be necessary/preferrable for high-quality GPS and similar applications. Are there BGA variants of the nt1065 available? (Or will they be available)? Or is the signal quality issue much lower than I thought? Since you developed boards for QFN and BGA chips: Were you able to compare this topic?

Hello Sourcerer!

Thank you for your interest! The NT1065 has no BGA version.
A signal quality is not much dependent of QFN/BGA,
but the PCB simplicity is. Now you can route NT1065 on only
two layer board. Our first design was two layer and it works.

Regards,
Igor
